PAUL ZANE PILZER--"THE" ECONOMIST--Due to Ayn Rand's influence in the 60's I've studied free market economics for a few decades & this was the most interesting talk on the subject I've ever heard. It's available from our new businss on audio (cat #9237--not available at the convention) -- highly recommended! Pilzer, with his very impressive credentials, clearly painted the complete picture of our present sick society from the economic perspective. He demonstrated exactly how the food industry, drug industry, medical industry & government agencies work together in our society, the results & the solutions ... then demonstrates that we're in the right place at the right time & with our new businss as the vehicle, with the Internet as a tool, we're part of the solution (an economy based on abundance rather than on scarcity) ... in all five pillars of health! After I receive the audio & listen to it a few dozen times, I'll likely be providing it to our Libertarian & medial colleagues. It appeals to everyone with a sense of freedom, honesty, health-awareness ... anyone with a twinge of the American Sense of Life. He was a breath of fresh air and he received a SPONTANEOUS, GENUINE standing ovation that would not stopped until he made a thoroughly unplanned return to the stage. THAT impressed me, not so much with Pilzer (I was already impressed to the max) but with the 6,000 in the audience. NO ONE waited for someone else to stand and cheer. We ALL stood & demanded his return ... immediately. I know our new businss attracts responsible people; I really had no idea they would ALL immediately understand what this man said. They did. We ARE in the right place at the right time ... with the right people ... to change the planet. (and beyond?)

55% of Americans are sick -- fat &/or obese & poor as a result of shifting from real whole foods to processed non-foods, drugs, non-natural lifestyles; a few are healthy & wealthy (can you imagine the communication skills it takes to get a unanimous standing ovation for saying THAT?). This guy is brilliant ... AND talented!
Trillions of dollars are about to be shifted to wellness rather than disease care worldwide and our new businss is positioned precisely beneath the new funnel of dollars.

MICHIO KUSHI--father of macrobiotics, the fellow who introduced acupuncture, shiatsu massage, tofu, futons & many other health concepts to America, founder & chairman of the Kushi Worldwide Institute. Born in Japan, Kushi was raised there during WWII & has studied health and humanity for over half a century, discovering early that air water & soil are all one and that the Five Pillars of Health are the foundation of a balanced life.
He pointed out that as humans have moved away from eating real foods, we've degenerated. When he arrived in the US in the 50's one of us in 28 suffered from cancer. Now, the cancer rate is one in two!
Kushi expressed precisely the same information ... and conclusions as did Pilzer ... From an entirely different perspective. His vision, backed by a solid plan for accomplishment, if of a new society with unlimited abundance, all based on the willingness of some of us to move toward healthful living, which he defines as Macrobiotics (by Natural Hygiene standards, Macrobiotics is a wonderful transition step from the Standard American Diet -- "SAD" --and far short of optimum nutrition (see www.wynman.com "Healthful Living" for NH & Instincto propaganda).
This was a beautiful experience of integration of East & West for us in that big room. I can't convey the positive energy present, just that you ARE in the right place at the right time.
--The real story of our new businss is beginning to emerge. This guy has been a friend of Tom Watanabe for 20+ years (& worked with Bill Tara, Royal Diamond, for the last 30 years!)
Kushi noted that our planet's water is contaminated, that chlorine in the water is extremely harmful & that he has worked with the pi water concept for 30 years. Well, I had planned to write up a synopsis of the Convention, but Ive managed to delay doing it long enough for some other good summaries to appear that I can just forward to you. Perhaps you have already seen them, or others. Without a doubt I believe the convention was an historic event for the company, and for all of us in the field. Not only did it reaffirm the companys vision for the future and their commitment to impacting world health, but they manifested bold steps to keep bringing us the products and tools to make the task possible - breakthrough product technologies, expanded services (communication tools, travel services, internet services) etc, and comprehensive training strategies.
Some of the highlights of the event for me were:
1. The Introduction of the PiMag Water System
I have been expressing to the company for the last 2-3 years that, in order to fully address our health, we needed to have a way to make sure the water we drink is healthy. Finally - they heard me. Just kidding. I know Im not the only one who has been pushing for something with water. Ginger and I had to opportunity to see the system on Tuesday and be briefed by Jeremy, who oversaw the product development process. I then had the benefit of being able to get on the internet and read up a little about "Pi Water" a completely new term to me. I think they hit a grand slam with this system. In fact, I know they did. I believe this has the potential of being one of our flagship product technologies, just as magnets have been, and far-infrared products have come to be. Last year, when they introduced the new Bio-Directed nutritional products, several top Wellness Consultants, with backgrounds in the nutritional industry were ecstatic. They felt like our new businss could actually become known as the leading nutritional company that also had magnets. Now, the leaders we have with water filtration system experience feel that our new businss could become known as the water system company that also has magnets, far-infrared and nutritionals. The truth is - were a wellness company, with "wellness technology for living." We address the physical aspect of wellness (just one of five areas) with innovative products in several technological categories. (Im still pushing for something to address the air we breathe, especially after spending a week in Southern California, where you can see the air you breathe.) Some recommended reading for you - "Your Bodys Many Cries for Water - (You are not sick, you are thirsty!)" by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D. (ISBN# 0-9629942-3-5). Also, "Reverse Aging" by Sang Whang (available from all the vendors).
2. The speech by Paul Zane Pilzer
Pilzers books have been a source of inspiration to me for several years, especially "God Wants You to be Rich (The Theology of Economics)". Im very eager to get his new book which, as he told us, places the issue of our health (or lack of it) at the core of our economic problems. To right the ship economically, we have to become healthier as a people and we must address health from a wellness perspective not a sick-care approach. Brilliant and timely insight for us. I believe his speech was taped and is, or will be, available from our new businss.
3. The changes in international sponsorship
The fact that a Senior level Wellness Consultant can now sponsor internationally is a very welcome change. The only requirements are to have attended Silver Training, and to complete the International Business Certification which, by the way, can be taken online now.
4. The policy changes regarding advertising.
There are new guidelines about how we can effectively bring our new businss "out of the closet" and make what we know now known to our world. Order the media kit, to be available in November.
5. The Party
When our new businss throws a party, its one for the ages (or at least until the next one). Ginger and I enjoyed donning the hippie regalia of the 60s and cavorting with all the Cleopatras, Pharaohs, Cassowaries, Czars, se¤senoritas, zoot-suiters, flappers and whatever else there was, making the rounds to hear the five different live bands, and sample the food and drink from 12 different food stations. The convention is almost worth attending just for the party itself.
It was an honor for me to be asked to speak to the audience representing the existing Diamond Distributors. As I said from the stage, it has become increasingly aware to me that the sometimes intimidating, but inspiring slogan "Change the World" is now not only believable but also achievable. Given the companys Globalization of product and marketing, our ever-expanding market (soon to include Switzerland, Norway and Viet Nam), our innovative technologies, our expanding array of services (travel, telecommunications, internet services), the mobilization of a united Wellness Consultant force, and the common cause of wellness as a central issue so crucial to our economy and well-being (listen to Pilzers speech) - WE ACTUALLY CAN BE A FORCE FOR IMPACTING GLOBAL WELLNESS!!
If not us - who? If not now - when? LETS DO IT!!!

Amazing and awesome are two words that describe the 2000 convention.... from info packed business seminars to astonishing guest speakers to full blast dancing and great food they showed their appreciation for us Wellness Consultants! At the very bottom here... Ill list major items of interest:
Trish is a fairly sensitive person... the first time she sat on the kenko seat she could feel something... a tingling. Well, Trish & I were in RD meeting last Tuesday and had opportunity to sample the new pi water. A minute or so after drinking Trish jumped up and exclaimed, "I feel it! I like it!! I had to almost pull her down she was so excited! Well, the only dilemma for me is how to resolve the fact this pi water is so good for us versus the possible need to ration it for Trish!?? In any case, we are excited about this product and plan to sell it also through demonstration... it will be easy to take a pi unit and hook it to someones kitchen faucet for a week or so. Have a sample of PiWater and tap water at WPs for quests To re emphasize a point made at the convention... balance... with these new products keep a focus on balance amongst the products.... our new businss has a four-pronged product strategy:
1. Have an excellent base for retail customers and new Wellness Consultants (magsteps, sales kit, career/demo pak and other paks)
2. Excellent nutritionals and skin care... AutoShip for financial stability
3. Core products (sleeps systems, etc) for quick financial growth
4. Remain leader in magnetic and FIR technology while including other new products and services for ongoing financial strength
